RELATIONAL MESSIANIC JUDAISM (RMJ) teaches that the faith to which God calls us should not be reduced to being simply an individualistic or even collective quest for constantly- upgraded ideological and doctrinal purity. Rather, RMJ insists that the quality of our faith is to be judged by our relational life with God and people as reflected in our conduct in the world. RMJ is intrinsic to the biblical witness, sometimes explicit, and sometimes implied. It is as Yeshua said, referring to the two most foundational mitzvot (commandments) in the Torah: “‘You are to love ADONAI your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.’ [c]   38 This is the greatest and most important mitzvah.  39  And a second is similar to it, ‘You are to love your neighbor as yourself.’ [d]   40  All of the Torah and the Prophets are dependent on these two mitzvot.” (Mt 22:37, CJB).
